On the 12 July, 24 runners from St Helens Bishopsgate, St George’s Holborn, St Nicholas Poplar, St Andrews Fulham, St Pauls Shadwell and St Nicholas, Chiswick took to the streets of London and completed the Vitality British 10km run around our capital city, to raise money for the Bishop of London’s Mission Fund (BLMF). They were running because they know the huge difference a youth and children’s worker can make to Church.

For some of them they remember the impact their youth worker had when they were growing up; and for others like Shirley Meikle and Ryan Lee, who took part in the race, and attend St Nicholas Poplar, they have seen the difference a BLMF funded worker is making to their church today.

It isn’t too late to sponsor our runners by clicking on the link below. Thank you for your support – with your help we can double the number of young people involved in their Christian community by 2020.
