The Strategic Development map, developed by the Diocese of London and Groundwork, brings together data from local, regional and national bodies, building a unique picture of development led change within the Diocese.
The map is more than an administrative tool. It allows us to see patterns and identify key issues providing information which can inform and support strategies for mission in its widest sense, both by local parishes and across the Diocese
London’s landscape is constantly changing with several of the country's largest development and regeneration projects taking place in the capital. Every community in London is part of a parish which receives both capital and revenue resource, with over £1 billion worth of resources being used annually for the benefit of local people. It is hoped that this new initiative will encourage those living and working in the capital to understand the scale of potential regeneration in their local areas.
