Assessing the appropriateness of Disclosures on the basis of task or role alone can lead to inappropriate decisions or worse.
The CRB Guidelines are quite clear in stating that the primary determinate is 'contact with children and vulnerable adults'. Categories of task or role may be useful as an administrative tool, but only as a secondary determinant.
