Welcome to the Christmas E-News bulletin from the Diocese of London.
The Bishop of London will deliver his Christmas message to Londoners via the capital’s new internet church, which launches on Saturday 23 December, thanks to a partnership between the Diocese of London and Premier.tv. The new initiative has been created using the template of a real church, St Stephen Walbrook in the City of London, and will offer sermons, services, prayer and worship to all visitors via the internet, 24 hours a day.
The broadcast is available online at http://premier.tv
The BBC will broadcast the family Christmas service live from St Mary's Ealing at 10.20am on Christmas Day.
The service will be led by the Revd Steve Paynter and includes a modern re-telling of the Christmas story.
The Bishop of London will offer his thoughts over Christmas on BBC Radio's 'Prayer for the Day'.
'Prayer for the Day' is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 at 5.43am, and the text is made available on the BBC website. The Bishop of London is speaking on 23-29 December.
