Welcome to the first E-News bulletin from the Diocese of London. We aim to publish every few weeks to keep our members and friends in touch with developments in the Church of England in our part of the capital.


Bishop of London to Lead Good Friday Meditation - 3pm, BBC Radio 4

In 'The Cross and the Bomb', the Bishop of London reflects on religious conflict in the context of Jesus' Passion on the Cross. The programme comes from St Ethelburga's, the medieval city church nearly destroyed by the Bishopsgate bomb in 1993 and rebuilt as an innovative centre for Reconciliation and Peace.

Richness and Diversity: An Exhibition of Contemporary Balkan Icons

More than sixty, extraordinary contemporary icons from Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and Serbia & Montenegro are on show at All Hallows by the Tower at the personal request of the Bishop of London. The exhibition runs until 19 May and entrance is free
