The Reverend Malcolm Herbert was made the new Vicar of Holy Trinity with St Paul and St Mary by the Bishop of Kensington on Sunday 16 September.
The Mayor of Hounslow and representatives of other Churches and Faiths joined a full church to welcome Malcolm, who has returned to parish ministry after 7 years of responsibility for the selection and training of new clergy in the Diocese of Bristol.
The Bishop said to the congregation, “remember that while Malcolm comes to love and lead you, like the Good Shepherd he is charged with going out and caring for all the people who live and work in this parish. Bless him as he goes out – and be prepared to go out with him.”
