The Revd Canon Ronald Herbert has been licensed by the Bishop of Willesden, the Rt Revd Pete Broadbent, as the new Vicar of St Michael and All Angels Stonebridge.
A packed Church welcomed Ron and his wife Joan who have moved to Brent from the Diocese of Chelmsford.
Bishop Pete said: "I am delighted to welcome Ron to Stonebridge. He is a priest with a real feel for urban ministry and a great track record in building up congregations".
