Members of the Bush City Youth Academy wrote and performed a drama on the impact of HIV/AIDS on young people worldwide.
They performed in St Stephen’s Church Shepherds Bush at a special service led by the Bishop of Kensington on Friday 1 December, World AIDS Day.
The Bishop talked of his own experiences in Mozambique where 1.2 million people live with HIV/AIDS and 300,000 children under 15 have lost their parents through AIDS related illnesses. A collection was taken to help people in Mozambique.
The Diocese of London has an ongoing link with the Anglican Church in Angola and Mozambique through ALMA, a real and important outworking of our partnership in the Gospel.
