'Open Churches' day - Tuesday 11 July

Many of the City of London's churches have been described as 'hidden gems' and have for years been difficult to get into.

The Friends of the City Churches, a charity dedicated to keeping the churches open and making them better known, has arranged to have most of the churches in the eastern half on Tuesday 11 July. Participants will also have the opportunity of guided tours.

The tours will all start from St Michael, Cornhill.
