Sunday Jewoola is one of two archdeacons from the Diocese of Ife in Nigeria currently in London for a three month stay at the invitation of Bishop Richard.

Archdeacon Jewoola is Rector of St Paul's Ife, a town centre church very much at the heart of civic life, which has seen remarkable growth in recent years.

Congregations have risen from a combined total of 650 to over 2000 since he took over in 2007. There is a staff team of five clergy and Sunday also runs a diocesan team of 16 lay evangelists.

Sunday's first five weeks have been spent as a guest of St Ann's Church, South Tottenham, where he has met Haringey Police recruits, answered the questions of Year 10 students at Grieg City Academy, and preached or contributed at a number of major services.

He now moves on to St Augustine, Kilburn and then to the Uxbridge team ministry.
