Start by selecting your preferred format – Word document, Rich Text file or Adobe Acrobat document.
Click on the file you wish to view and it will open either in your web browser or in an application on your computer.
To download individual files to your computer, follow the first step as above and right-click on the desired file and (for Internet Explorer) select Save Target As… and choose where you want the file to be stored.
The entire mailing can be downloaded in one go using the zipped archive folder. People on dial-up connections may prefer this option.
Right-click on the relevant archive and select Save Target As…, choosing where you want the file to be saved.
Recent versions of Windows allow you to open a file from within the zipped folder in the usual manner. On older versions an unzipping program is required to ‘extract’ the files from the archive.
Mac users can download the information in a similar way by clicking on the file’s icon and saving the file to your hard drive. We are also keen to receive feedback on whether this system is easier for you, and on anything else which would make the process smoother.
