At the initiation of a special-needs teacher working with children with severe learning disabilities, St Mary le Bow hosts sessions telling bible stories versified in the Cockney dialect. The rhythms and rhymes enable even the most disabled children to join in and have fun - and it fulfills their National Curriculum RE requirement, too!
