MISSION STATEMENT
We exist to make followers of Jesus Christ, to enable us all to know and worship God in the whole of life.

OUR CORE VALUES
We consider the following values to be uppermost in church life:
• Outreach – Sharing God’s love with the wider community
• Gathered Worship – Meeting together for praise, prayer, preaching, teaching, sharing bread and wine, and baptism
• Fellowship – Development of Community, mutual encouragement and support through congregation and group fellowship
• Use of God’s Gifts – Discerning and praying for the release of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit; using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, our skills, money and buildings to serve the community in God’s way
OUTREACH
Activities to enable people to Know, Follow, and Share Jesus
Sub teams may need to work on areas of Outreach. E.g. children, young people, 18’s to 30’s, older people.
Examples:-
• Teaching: Alpha Courses, faith sharing, post Alpha
• Prayer: street walks
• Communication: Use of external Noticeboard, distribute leaflets
• Social & Community Events:
• Outreach Events: Lent lunch, Christmas sing-along, Pancake party, Pre-School, Lite Nite, Tea Party
• Support for church organisations: Toddlers, Brownies & Guides
• Joint with other churches: Moving On, Holiday Club, Life Exhibition
GATHERED WORSHIP
Worship style, times of services, fresh expressions of being church, open to Holy Spirit
Examples:-
• Praise, Prayer, Listening, Petition
• Music and Songs, musicians and singers
• Junior Church
• Dance, Drama, Art, Godly play
• Accessibility (language, dress, layout, liturgy, open doors)
• Feel
• Place
• Fellowship Groups (cell church)

FELLOWSHIP
Availability of a group for each person
Reasons: relationships, belonging, mutual support, learning and growing together, prayer

OPEN DOORS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The following objectives were set for the Church buildings by the Leadership Team:-
• to be open to view
• to be in use every day of the week
• to meet current and perceived requirements of Church, community and other users
• must generate regular income
• must meet or exceed Disability Audit requirements
• should require less maintenance
• capital cost for redevelopment to come from sale or lease of some land
Objectives for the buildings on the site have been set:-
To provide affordable residential accommodation and rooms for activities for:-
• Key Workers
• Elderly
• Disabled
• Single Parent Families
• After School Kids activities
