The London Challenge 2012 film

You may wish to show the film at the next Annual Parochial Meeting, the first PCC meeting of the new parochial year, a standing committee meeting, a house group, a bespoke gathering of people from your community.

If you hold such a meeting, here are some questions that you may like to discuss afterwards.

  1. How well are we sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to those in our part of London? How could we do better?
  2. How can we deepen our prayer life?
  3. What is the good news that we have for the young people living near us?
  4. In what ways do we serve London and all her people? Could we do more?
  5. How do we demonstrate our love and care for God’s created world in our city? Can we do more?

The film is available to view or download here. DVDs were given out at the launch at St Paul’s Cathedral and extra copies can be ordered online.

Sharing the good news

The bulletin boards have been developed to allow people to share ideas and activities that other parishes and organisations may find helpful in addressing the seven commitments of London Challenge 2012.

Every parish already has a person designated as their web updater who can log in to add information to the bulletin board, and link it to one or more of the London Challenge commitments.

In most cases this person will be the parish priest. If you have any problems using this facility, please email

The ways in which we respond to the London Challenge will be announced on the news section of this website and through our e-newsletter. Click here to subscribe to that service.

We also advertise a variety of events. If you have organised an event, please consider adding details of it online.

Brochure

The brochure for London Challenge 2012 is available online and extra copies for parishes can be ordered.
