Incumbent for the Parish of St Clement, Notting Dale and St James, Norlands

We are seeking a Priest (female or male) with proven leadership skills and vision to join our team of Parish and Community Project staff in a dynamic, multi-cultural, inclusive and community-focussed Notting Hill parish. We are a two Church, unfussy, liberal catholic parish with a focus on community ministry; in the south of the parish there is some great wealth, in the north are some of the most disadvantaged areas in London. We have a highly respected Community Project, The ClementJames Centre and a popular Church school. We aim to be open and accepting, recognising everyone as an individual creation of God. We are committed both to a sacramental style of worship and to being the Church in action in the local community.

We anticipate our new Incumbent will:
• have highly sensitive pastoral skills, able to minister to those of all faiths and none, with very effective communication and preaching gifts
• be an excellent team leader and a dedicated team player able to support and encourage lay involvement in the development of the parish and to work collaboratively with parish and community project staff
• have the vision, leadership and commitment to carry our congregations forward with spiritual energy, building on existing strengths and developing new areas of ministry and mission
• have the essential managerial, administrative and financial acumen to ensure the successful development of the parish
