The Parish is situated to the west of Twickenham centre in a suburban area developed principally in the 1930’s. The Church building is 51 years old and in good order with both a Hall and Vicarage adjacent to the Church.
Main features of the Parish include:-
• A modern, inclusive robust catholic tradition of worship
• A strong tradition of lay ministry
• A highly regarded choir (both adult and junior)
• A much respected Day Respite Care Centre (Homelink) – a major feature of mission and outreach to the wider community
Expectations of the new incumbent:-
• A person of prayer with good liturgical sense
• Compassion, integrity, energy and enthusiasm
• Good training and teaching skills
• A strong sense of humour
Key Areas of potential growth:-
• Further development of the Homelink Day Respite Care project building on thirteen years of successful operation
• Alongside developing the present strengths of the parish we seek a priest who is able to be an enthusiastic leader in mission, especially with regard to developing the work with youth and children.
