Area Director of Ministry
Kensington Episcopal Area, Diocese of London

The Bishop of Kensington is seeking to appoint an ordained person who is a creative, energetic and visionary leader to work in the Episcopal Area of Kensington as Director of Ministry. The person will have strong relational skills, an aptitude towards good organisation, and be a gifted communicator in bible teaching and ministry training.

The Area Director of Ministry will have direct responsibility for:
- Fostering vocations to lay and ordained ministries
- Directing ordinands (at present the Area has 35 ordinands in training)
- Overseeing post ordination training
- Facilitating clergy and lay development and training

As well as working as a senior member of the Area Team they will engage enthusiastically with colleagues across the Diocese in seeking to fulfil the objectives of the London Challenge.

This is a stipendiary post of incumbent status (housing provided).
