A vacancy exists for a Virger at St Paul's Cathedral. The team of six virgers organise the practical elements of services and events and support the role of the Cathedral as a place of Christian witness. They take part in ceremonial occasions and are part of the welcome given to visitors on a day to day basis.

Applicants should be Anglican communicants who are confident in dealing with the public and willing to take responsibility for a variety of tasks. Experience in a similar environment is not essential but would be an advantage. The post involves flexible working hours and is non-resident.
