Are you creative enough to help Christians work together?
Unity is hard. But at the Evangelical Alliance we also believe that unity is essential if Christians are going to make a real change to our society. And because nothing worthwhile is easy we are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, never-say-die person to lead our Marketing and Fundraising team.
Already raising over £2 million a year, largely from individual donors, the Alliance needs to build on this success with new initiatives, whilst strengthening our major donor, personal and corporate membership programmes. We are also looking increasingly at the bigger picture and need to engage our members and the church through a vitalised marketing programme.
You will be the missing link in a newly invigorated and performing communications department working to present Christian values to the media, government and society.
The successful candidate will have:
• Minimum 3 years experience in marketing and/or fundraising role in the charity sector, or revenue generation in the financial sector
• Proven track record in individual and major donor fundraising, as well as direct appeals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive attitude and an ability to deliver targets within tight deadlines
