Receptionist / Administrator - London Diocesan Fund

RECEPTIONIST / ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: £19,000 per annum plus benefits
08:30-17:00 (37½ hours) Monday to Friday

The Diocese of London has a budget of over £30 million a year, extensive property interests, over 400 parishes and over 500 stipendiary clergy. We seek to use our resources to exercise pastoral care and support to these parishes which serve approximately 3,500,000 people in an area roughly corresponding to the old County of Middlesex.

The London Diocesan Fund is the administrative body for the Diocese of London. We require an experienced Receptionist/Administrator for our modern office building near Pimlico underground station, SW1. The office also serves other organisations including the London Diocesan Board for Schools.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate solid reception/ administration experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. As well as the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, you must also be enthusiastic, have an organised approach with attention to detail and be able to manage your time effectively.

In this role you will greet telephone callers and visitors to the office in a professional manner and direct them to the people most likely to be able to help them. You will be responsible for administrative duties linked to the role as well as undertake administration in support of the wider objectives of the organisation. A friendly and helpful approach is essential.
