An experienced person is sought for this church based charity.

Working in partnership with the church of S. Alban the Martyr and the St. Andrew Holborn Charity, the successful candidate will be expected:
To engage in the building up of pastoral relationships with local Schools and Community groups.

To make regular home visits to needy and vulnerable people within the area and be able to address their needs by offering practical support and advice. Collaborative working with other support groups will also feature in the role.
To help assess suitability for grant applications.

The successful candidate will be motivated by the will to take an active role in the furthering of community relations along with a deep commitment towards actively helping those in need. He/she will be able to assess need cogently, exercise good judgement and handle anxiety in others, while being personally emotionally resilient.

A COSW or equivalent qualification is desirable: and/or accredited experience of community, social and pastoral work.
