This inner city parish (pop 12,000) has the church at the heart of its diverse community. The congregation (ER 105) reflects and celebrates this diversity and with its long standing evangelical tradition is outward looking and mission minded.

There are close links with the local community and schools and plans to transform the church buildings to serve the community better and fulfil their vision for people to find Christ and grow in faith.

They are seeking an inspirational leader, from the evangelical tradition with a heart for pastoral care and evangelism who:

• is prayerful, with a strong personal relationship with God
• can communicate God’s word clearly and imaginatively
• will be committed to the church building project
• is a clear thinker with organisational skills to match
