This concert is the final concert of the thirty-first Mozart Summer Festival and takes place in the recently restored Fulham Palace, once the home of the Bishops of London.
Although it is nearly 120 years since Hopkins died, much of his poetry still sounds startlingly modern. It is some of the most exciting and profound Christian poetry ever written.
