Debate on energy, conservation and Christianity
The second debate in our series of environmental events, Creation in Crisis, when we will be exploring the links between Christianity and ecology. The debate will look at how much longer the earth’s resources might sustain the current level of human energy consumption, as well as assessing the damage such consumption is having on the natural world. It will offer a wider perspective on alternative energy sources and seek to promote a vision of how individuals and faith groups might respond to the imperatives of conservation and contraction. Speakers include Aubrey Meyer (Global Commons Institute), Deepak Rughani (Biofuelswatch), Martin Palmer (Alliance of Religions and Conservation) and Martin Harper (RSPB).
