There is often a tremendous passion for Jesus engendered on the Alpha course. How can we maintain that passion in the years that follow? Can it become a passion for the poor?
Have we lost the message in our churches that an intentional involvement with the poor and the excluded is central to our faith? What did Mother Teresa mean when she said that, since His death and resurrection, Jesus now comes to us ‘in the distressing disguise of the poor?'.
