Come and join JustShare, Ann Pettifor, Larry Elliott and a number of development agencies on the steps of the Royal Exchange in the heart of the City to raise awareness of debt and its impact on poorer people both in the UK and in the developing world.

With global financial markets in debt-driven turmoil and the Jubilee Debt Campaign's Journey to Justice (10 years on from Birmingham) picking up pace, JustShare's May Day 2008 event could not be more relevant. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about the third world debt crisis, the credit crunch in the UK and what can be done about them.

There will be music and campaign stalls from midday and speeches from 1pm, followed by a seminar in a nearby church form 2-3pm to explore the issues further.
