An opportunity to hear outstanding students from The Purcell School perform at our annual Chamber Music Concert.
The Purcell School continues to produce some of the UK's finest young musicians. A varied programme will be performed by groups chosen by audition and will include the following works: Piano Quintet (i) by Schumann; Piano duets by Schubert, Mozart and Stravinsky; String Quartet Op 12 (i) by Mendelssohn; Piano Trio – The Archduke (i) by Beethoven; Vocal Octet, Madrigals by Weelkes and Gibbons; String Quartet Op 13 (i) by Mendelssohn; Brass Quintet by Parker and Piano Duet by Poulenc.
