Bible Society invites you to a special screening of ‘The Walk’
For one of Bible Society’s founding fathers, William Wilberforce, 1807 was a significant year – the year in which his dedicated campaign against slavery culminated in the passing of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act.
And now, to mark the Bicentenary of the Act, Bible Society has produced a brand new short feature film – The Walk – that tells Wilberforce’s astonishing true story.
Directed by Murray Watts, The Walk captures on film Wilberforce’s passion to change the lives of millions… and resonates with issues of justice and slavery today
