This retreat is suitable for both the long-standing reader of Merton or those simply interested in finding out more about him. Merton's life and work in different forms will be explored over the course of the retreat.
The retreat is led by Michael Woodward who edited The Merton Journal for the Thomas Merton Society of Great Britain and Ireland for several years. He was the first leader of the Lay Community, stepping down in 2008.
Time will be spent on the theme of Advent and exploring the ways in which God comes to us. Merton's life and work will
