The financial crisis has affected people all over the world, including the most vulnerable. Do we need a radical, collective change of mind and heart in order for the world to be governed for the good? Is there a role for spiritual leadership? And in this new financial world, is poverty more or less likely to be made history?
St Paul's Institute presents our Autumn 2009 programme: Money, Integrity, Wellbeing - addressing moral questions raised by the financial crisis.
A New Global Order? is a public debate that will see a panel of speakers discuss contemporary issues surrounding our economy. The panel will include:
Douglas Alexander MP, Secretary of State for International Development
Elizabeth Koepping, Lecturer in World Christianity, University of Edinburgh
Salil Shetty, Director, Millenium Development Campaign
The event will be chaired by Richard Chartres, Bishop of London
