LIVING THE QUESTIONS

A seven-session introductory course to progressive Christianity.

Details

A ground-breaking alternative to the popular Alpha course, Living The Questions is a new DVD-based course which creates the space to explore the significance of Christianity in the 21st century, and how it can shape our lives in today’s world.

Led by Rev Dave Tomlinson, author of The Post-Evangelical and Re-Enchanting Christianity, each session will begin with a meal. This will be followed by a 20-minute DVD featuring interviews and commentary from leading progressive theologians and church leaders, on topics such as ‘What sort of God can we believe in?’, ‘How can we take the Bible seriously?’, ‘Who is Jesus Christ for us today?’ and ‘Science and religion – partners not enemies’. The session will continue with a guided discussion aided by notes (provided to take away).

The seven-session Living The Questions course runs on the following dates:
23 & 30 September
7 & 21 October
11, 18 & 25 November
