Private companies, from the North in partnership with companies from the South are needed to ensure development. No other force within society will generate the jobs and incomes for the poorest.
The GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM organises high calibre debates on
issues that are relevant to the developing world.
The debates are held on Wednesdays in March and October each year in the evening at St James's Church in Piccadilly. The speakers have included Cabinet Ministers, politicians and academic thinkers and researchers, and international celebrities, including George Soros." There is a small charge to attend the debates to cover the costs.The GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT FORUM is supported by the 25 largest voluntary organisations in the UK.
