Adding responses to the London Challenge Commitments

Adding London Challenge 2012 Responses

A person in every parish has been given a username and a password in order to add responses to the London Challenge bulletin boards. To find out who the relevant person is for a parish, locate the parish’s information page via Church Finder.

You may add responses to the Seven Commitments to show how your church is already meeting these challenges or is planning to. We hope that this will inspire and encourage others. For each response you will be able to enter text and optionally add a photograph and an attached document. You will need to log in to the website first. See the section ‘Accessing your account’ below for more details.

There are two directions you can approach this from.

  1. From the London Challenge 2012 area of the site – by clicking from the Seven Commitments page to one of the top-level commitments, you will see responses linked to each on the right-hand side. If you are logged in, you will also see links allowing you to add your own church response. By default, this will be linked to the commitment from where you clicked ‘Add’, but you can link the same response to several commitments by entering a list of commitment numbers, separated by commas.
  2. From your church page – if you are logged-in or you have existing responses to the London Challenge 2012 commitments, there will be a logo and link on your church page. This lists any current responses and allows you to add new responses. If you approach from this direction you will need to know the number(s) of the commitment(s) which your response relates to.

Responses added to this section will be checked by a moderator before being made publicly visible. You will be contacted by email if there is an issue with any of your submissions.

Accessing your account

Click on the Login link above the News Section toward the middle of the page. Enter your personal username and password. Both are case-sensitive. Forgotten passwords and usernames can be retrieved from a link on this page.

You should now be able to access your account. Click on the My Account link next to your name, which will have replaced the login link.

If your account name and password do not work, please check that you have entered the details correctly and that you have used both upper and lower case letters precisely. If this still does not work, please send an email to

Your account page will list which parish details you may edit. For most people this will only be one.
